Poplar Lake Cabin

We had a great time. We both love to fish and although we didn't catch anything it was still great to kick back with a pole in hand. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us..

Really enjoyed our home away from home in North Carolina! Everything we needed and hosts that seemed to genuinely care that we were well settled and enjoying ourselves!

The house itself gives off great cabin vibes, and it has everything you need for your stay -- lots of towels, cooking equipment, etc. Hot tub is always warm. The yard is big and fenced in (and the fence has wiring on it so the dogs couldn't sneak through). Our dogs loved playing fetch in the yard and swimming in the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay here. This is our second year coming to Poplar Lake Cabin, and we will likely be back for a third.

We loved the space, the downstairs bunk area, the location and the beautiful lake!!! We spent time canoeing, kayaking and fishing! Fenced-in yard was great for our dogs and children. Smores were special around the firepit. We enjoyed every aspect of it! Looking forward to visiting again!

We took a group of 4 teenage girls on a spring break trip to Mountain paradise. The set up was perfect with the girls staying in the basement. They had their own space and we had ours. We loved the yard, the fire pit, the pretty lake, the boats the hot tub and the hammock. The views are beautiful and the setting is peaceful. The beds were comfy. There wasn’t anywhere to put our clothes, so I suggest bringing some hangers for the closets. It’s about a 2 mile drive up a gravel road to get to the cabin. We didn’t have any trouble in our SUV, but something to note.
